Official Records and Access

MCR 8.119 governs Michigan trial-court record access, MCR 1.109 addresses protected personal information, and Michigan FOIA, MCL 15.231 et seq., applies to relevant county public-body records. A court clerk may restrict, redact, or decline a request where the governing rule, statute, or order requires it.
